Anderson Ranch Residency

My 11-week residency at Anderson Ranch Arts Center last fall was a most amazing experience.  Creative fellow residents, great facilities and equipment, wonderful staff, and the stunning surroundings of Aspen made this one of the most memorable and productive times in my life. I was a resident in the Sculpture Department, but the residency allows for cross departmental access, so I also worked in the Printmaking  and Digital Media studios.  It was a time of exploration for me,  and while I only made a few pieces that I consider truly finished, I launched a bunch of ideas and am continuing the work back in my own studio. Thank you,  Anderson Ranch, for existing for artists to have focused time;  and thank you,  Oregon Arts Commission and Ford Family Foundation, for grants to help make it all possible for me.
